Hartland Vermont Cemeteries

There are at least 15 cemeteries in the Hartland area. They vary in size from a few family graves to hundreds of graves. Most are toward the smaller end of the scale.

This section of the Hartland Historical Society site provides an overview of the cemeteries and the gravestones within them. Each cemetery is listed below with some basic information about it. Some of the cemeteries have links to more information. Some of the cemetery links lead to pictures and transcriptions of the gravestones.

Tip: The US Census Map Site shows GPS coordinates and also has many of Hartland's cemeteries marked in green (as parks).

Help Wanted!

We would like to include detailed information about every cemetery and every stone and marker in each cemetery. If you are interested in helping with this, please contact Bev Lasure.

The information below was collected from a variety of sources including copies of works by others. Some of these documents do not have the name of the person who did the original research. Our thanks to those people, whoever they are. We know of the following people whose work we used in compiling these pages: Howland Atwood, Gary Lull, Bev Lasure, Brad Hadley, Arthur Hyde, Pat Lavato ...

Use the following table along with the map below to locate the cemetery of interest.
