Martinsville Covered BridgeMartins Mill or Martinsville covered bridge is located in Hartland, VT (Windsor County) on Martinsville Road off US Route 5 at Lat: N 43 31.926 Lon: W 72 23.750. This bridge is a 135 foot long Town Lattice Truss built in 1881 by James F. Tasker. In 1979 distribution beams were tie-bolted under the deck, diagonal steel sway braces were installed, and steel cables were added for lateral support. The ruined buildings by the south portal and the foundations along the south bank of the brook are the remains of Martin's sawmill. It is 135 feet long and 16' 2" spanning Lull's Brook It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1973.
